Semi-Annual Retiree's Luncheon
October 2007
The following pictures are from our 19th semi-annual retiree's luncheon which was our best attended to date. On October 26, 2007, over 70 of our tile and terrazzo retirees turned out for an afternoon of good times and good food.


REGION 5 APPRENTICE CONTEST AUGUST, 2007
Susan Juyke, Matt
Krabbe, and TIm Jakob competed in the North Central Regional Apprenticeship
Contest, held in Kansas City. All three apprentices showed great skill in
their trade, and made Local 67 proud of their ability and spirit. Tim
Jakob took 2nd place at the Regional and went on to the finals, held at the new
Naional Training Center in Bowie, Maryland later in September. Check out

tile improvers at niles west high school
Students at Niles West High School Art Class created and made this mural from broken pieces of ceramic tile. It was installed by our Improvers, under the supervision of the Instructors, Bill Breheny & Jerry Salemi, in the front entry of the school. Our Finishers then grouted it, supervised by their Instructor, Scott Gutknecht.
